My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

PRINCESS is a 7 year old spayed black female Lab who weighs 58 pounds. She is a very sweet girl. She is a little shy at first but will warm up quickly. She is house trained and is used to free reign of the house. Princess is good when on leash and loves to go for walks. She knows the commands: sit, lay down, stay, paw and come. Princess loves to run around and play outside. She loves to retrieve tennis balls and sticks. Princess may do best in a home with a confident dog. She seems to prefer to be around male dogs. No cat history. Princess is approved for kids 8 +.

Update: Sweet Princess is still searching for her forever home! She loves to cuddle, sunbathe, take naps, stay close to her people, play fetch, and gaze at you lovingly with her big brown eyes! She's done great meeting other people and dogs on walks! Watch her play: https://youtu.be/5Z9C24n-qeo

Update: Princess is such a lovely lady! Shy and a bit timid at first, she quickly warms up and wants to shower you with love and affection, rolling on her back for belly rubs. She follows her foster mom around the house, curious to see what they are doing, but then happily settles on a dog bed or on the ground nearby. Her playful side has been emerging. She loves to run after toys, prancing and tail wagging happily. Introducing her to the resident 5 year-old lab was incredibly smooth and easy. After a few sniffs they became friends and now chase after toys together or sunbathe in the yard side by side. Princess walks nicely on a leash and is very attentive on walks. She knows how to sit and is quite food motivated so training her on other commands should be easy! She sleeps soundly through the night, loves her crate, and is house trained.
