My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there! My name is Jet. I'm a 4-year-old neutered male Schnauzer/Terrier mix. I weigh around 31 pounds. I'm a gentle soul who's as sweet as they come. I'm super submissive and I'd never hurt a fly. I get along well with dogs and people alike.

On the Fourth of July, I heard some fireworks that scared me so much I ran away from home and into a stranger's yard. Unfortunately for me, there were a couple of aggressive dogs living there who ended up attacking me and I was left with some pretty nasty bite wounds on my neck. The wounds were so deep that my muscle was exposed. It wasn't pretty! When CageFree heard what had happened to me, they pulled me from the shelter and rushed me over to their veterinarian. I had to get several staples and stitches to repair the wounds, but now I'm on the mend and expected to make a full recovery with no lasting effects from the injuries.

I'm so calm and well behaved, I'd be the perfect addition to any family. I'm already vaccinated and microchipped, so I'm all ready to go to my new home. My friends here are taking really good care of me and are working on finding me the loving forever home I so deserve.
