Hi, my name is FLORI and I would love to meet you. I am a Spayed Female Rabbit sh. The shelter staff think I am about 8 months old. I have been at the shelter since Aug 09, 2016.

Hi my name is Flori.
I`m about eight months old and looking for my forever home.
Would you be interested?
I`ll have to tell you I can be a bit shy and can startle easy, but please don`t fault me for that. Let me explain a little. I`m sure you have noticed my eyes are red with a translucent blue coloration; it makes it hard for me to see more than just shadows. Bright lights hurt my eyes.

I grew up around cats, dogs and even other bunnies, although I didn`t really spend time with the other bunnies. I`m a big eater, right now I`m getting food pellets every morning and LOTS of hay every day. Oh yea- don`t forget my greens, I eat those for dinner every night and my preferrence would be spring mix. By the way a large bowl is how I drink plenty of water.

As you can imagine with me still growing, I will need lots of run and play time. When I was a baby and still in a foster home, I had a tunnel that I loved to run through and also like to just hang out in it, my foster mom also gave me a plain wicker basket that she put upside down that I liked to hop on or crawl under.
If you would like to meet with me hurry please.
Can`t wait to meet my furever family.
Thanks for considering me.

Our Adoption Process...

Adopters are asked to fill out a brief survey to help match them with the pet that is right for them.
Adoption fees vary, but the typical fees are: Cats - $60, Dogs - $140, and Rabbits - $75. Pet license fees may also be charged. Dogs, cats and rabbits are spayed or neutered prior to adoption, and dogs and cats are microchipped, and receive initial vaccinations. More information about adoption can be found at
