Morris (Neutered)'s Story...
"Morris" is a handsome male kitten who arrived at the HSOV on May 14, 2016 along with his mother (Millie) and his brothers (Madison, Marvin, and Milo) when he and his siblings were approximately 5-6 weeks old. The kittens were separated from their mother on June 14th when orphaned kittens were brought to our shelter, and Millie accepted them as her second family to raise until she and those kittens went to a wonderful rescue group. "Morris" has a dark orange short smooth coat in a swirled tabby pattern, an extra-long tail, and an adorable face with bronze-colored eyes and a pink nose.. He is a loverboy (and also a playboy) who dearly loves his brothers. These boys are sharing a large cage and will be available for adoption when they are old enough/weigh enough to be neutered. This little trio would be terrific to be adopted together <3 Their mother (Millie) was combo tested on May 14, 2016 and is negative for feline leukemia, FIV, and heartworm .. which is also fantastic news for her kittens "Morris" was neutered on July 13, 2016 and was also given rabies vaccine. His adoption fee would be just $20 with an approved adoption application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Morris (Neutered), a Marietta Domestic Mediumhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair kitten from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
