Facts about Poppy

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Brown Tabby
  • Age: Adult
  • Sex: Female
  • Hair: Short
Sweet Poppy had a home in an assisted living center, but she was rescued after many residents witnessed her elderly owner violently beating her. She came to a vet clinic where she was checked out and miraculously had no permanent physical damage, but for obvious reasons she now needs a new home. She is a tiny little girl who is very slender. She is super sweet and just loves people in spite of her treatment. She loves her soft bed and chin scratches. She's a pretty mellow girl even though she's still pretty young at just around an estimated 5 years old. She does enjoy playing as well, but would just as well take a cat nap in the sun on a soft blanket.
She is microchipped, spayed, and vaccinated. Can you give this loving girl the home she deserves?
Her adoption fee is $65

Our Adoption Process...

We require an online application or phone interview prior to approval to adopt. Once we feel you are a suitable home, we work to find the ideal animal for you. Then you will fill out a contract. Adoption fees are usually $75 for cats unless it is a purebred, and then the adoption fee will be higher to help offset our costs for their care and others. Dogs usually run $150-$200, depending on breed and age. We strive to find the best homes for our animals-adoptions will not necessarily be based on first come, first serve, it will be based on which home we feel the animal would do best in. Our animals are our primary concern, and we will do what we feel is best for them. We are completely donation-based.
