My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

ALLIE is an 8 year old spayed black female Lab who weighs 71 pounds. Allie is a very sweet girl. She is house trained and is used to free reign of the house. Allie is good when on leash and loves to go for walks. She knows the commands: sit, lay down, stay, paw and come. Allie loves to run around and play outside. She loves to retrieve tennis balls and sticks. Allie hasn't had the opportunity to go swimming in a while but her previous owner said she loves to go swimming. Allie is good with other dogs and will do best with a male dog or by herself. She used to live with 3 other dogs and likes to play with other dogs. From transporter: Allie is a very sweet girl. She is a great car rider and enjoyed taking a nap on the way to the vet. She is approved for kids 8+. More info soon!

Update: Allie is a total sweetheart! Very good doggie manners! No jumping, no counter surfing, and boy can this girl retrieve! She'll bring it back to your hand gently every time! It took her a few days to pick up the routine of the house, and now she goes with the flow. She enjoys her walks, and walks well on the leash. She's going to make a wonderful addition to a family!

Update: Allie has arrived at her foster home and is doing great! She slept well last night on the floor next to her foster mom, and is enjoying her foster brother. She also seems unfazed by the resident guinea pig. She's still recovering from her spay surgery and is on activity restriction, but is a good retriever and has chased after the tennis ball short distances a few times. She's a lovely girl and will make some family very happy!
