Daisy's Story...
"Daisy" is an adorable adult female Beagle who was brought to the HSOV on July 19, 2016 after she was found in the Whipple, Ohio area. This little sweetheart has a tricolor short smooth coat in the traditional tartan colors of her noble breed, a long tail, and a beautiful face with soulful eyes and large brown velvet ears. "Daisy" has a sweet, affectionate personality and a rather quiet reserved disposition. She was a pushover for the attention which was lavished upon her by our Beagle-loving photographer (and vice-versa) ;) "Daisy" weighs 27.6 lbs. and is the perfect size for nice companion to share your lap, sofa, and bed :) She will be available for adoption on July 21, 2016.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Daisy, a Marietta Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
