Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Alex is a young, 1 -2 year old, high energy pup. He was found as a stray in mid Michigan wandering around a blueberry farm! He is very sweet, affectionate and loves to cuddle! However, he has a wild child side and gets the zoomies in the house and yard. He is also known to chew on a few things he shouldn't, but that is pretty normal for a young beagle.
Alex gets along very well with the other dogs and cat in his foster home. We have not seen him around children, but would not expect any issues with older kids.
Alex will need to go to a home where he will get plenty of exercise. Another dog to play with would be great, but not required as long as gets to burn off his energy.
Alex is mostly house trained. He had a few accidents the first week or so, but seems to have the hang of it now. Alex is also crate trained and sleeps in the crate when we are at work and at night. He is not super loud in the house, but has a big voice outside when he sees another dog or critter. Alex seems to get very nervous when he needs to take a car trip. He will drool excessively and throws up. Maybe he will get better with time, but is no fan of car rides at the moment.
All in all, he is a sweetheart and will make someone a wonderful companion. Fill out an adoption application if you want to learn more!
