We welcome specific questions. Due to high volume of applications, we may not be able to respond immediately. Your patience is appreciated.

If an animal is on our website, it is still available but might have other applicants. If you find yourself interested in one of our animals, it is in your best interest to submit an application immediately. Submitting an application does not commit you to any animal, but does get you a head start with the adoption approval process.

We do not schedule meetings until you have an approved application.

As an all-volunteer, foster home based organization, ARF does not have a facility where applicants can visit our animals. The majority of our dogs and cats are brought to adoption events by our volunteers. We invite everyone to come to our events, but we must give priority to pre-approved applicants.

Male, neutered, about 2 years old (as of June 2016), microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, currently in a foster home, adoption fee $110.

What a life!  Someone and loved me, dumped me outside where I was so scared, didn't know where I was or what to do.  A really nice lady found me and took me into her house.  It took a while but she loved me so much, I had to love her.  Then her daughter came home from college and kept having asthma attacks.  My lady and her daughter hadn't had a cat before me.  So she took me sadly, crying all the way to a rescue in the county.  I was despondent, nothing in life turned out right for me.  One of their volunteers called a lady who was to ultimately be my new my foster mom and told her that I was so depressed she thought I might die if I didn't get out of there.  So here I am.  I hid for a while but started coming out first at night and would snuggle in bed with her, now I come out just to watch TV with her.'

If you are interested in meeting Squeakers, you can fill out an online adoption application at  Once your application has been approved, an ARF volunteer will contact you to arrange a meeting with the cat.  Filling out the application does not obligate you in any way.

If you’re invited to meet an animal, plan to arrive on time or early,
as we cannot hold animals.

All household members must be present at time of adoption, including dogs.

 We appreciate your cooperation.
