Facts about April - female tabby

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Brown Tabby
  • Age: Young
  • Sex: Female
  • ID#: 9499234
  • Hair: Short

APRIL is an extremely sweet tabby cat, probably about 1 1/2 years old.  She has chronic sinus infection that comes and goes, much like people's seasonal allergies.  When she has a flareup and starts sneezing, all it requires is one small, inexpensive shot and she's good to go for awhile again.

She is a happy, loving  and affectionate cat, and she is good with most other cats, not sure about dogs.  She is spayed, utd on her shots, and feline leukemia negative.

If you would like to adopt her and give her a chance at a normal life as an indoor cat, please fill out and submit an adoption application at mitchellanimalrescue.org

Adoption fee is $50 - quite the bargain for being spayed, utd on shots and feline leukemia tested.

About Mitchell Animal Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Mitchell Animal Rescue does not have a shelter. We are a small group of people who are advocates for the city strays that are taken to the city shelter. We advertise them in local newspapers, online classifieds, adopt when their time is up in the shelter, and foster them until we find new homes for them. We spay or neuter them asap or require the new owners to get it done within a reasonable amount of time and we require proof that it has been done. This is necessary as we are an animal rescue and are working hard to reduce the number of unwanted, abandoned, and abused animals.
We have also, in certain circumstances, taken surrendered animals when their owners can't keep their pets. We do try to convince pet owners who can't keep their pets to try to find new owners, but when they can't we will help as much as we can.

Our Adoption Process...

Adoption fee from the city shelter is $50 plus tax to release a dog. This is the cost of mandatory shots for rabies, parvo, distemper, and corona.
Adoption fee may be higher if Mitchell Animal Rescue adopts the pet from the city shelter when their time is up, puts them foster care and has to spay, neuter, or provide vet care. The adoption fee very seldom covers the costs for us to care for these pets before adoption. We require spay/neuter and require proof from a vet when it has been done. An adoption form must be filled out and signed and a house visit may be required. Mitchell Animal Rescue reserves the right to retrieve any animal adopted from us due to neglect, abuse, or abandonment.
