Whatever Lola wants, Lola gets - at least when it comes to treats.
This gorgeous blondie loves her treats. She knows that answering the "shake" commands gets her treats. Eye contact means more treats.
But seriously, that's not all that Lola's about. She's someone's future walking companion because she also loves the trail. A perfect lady, she is polite toward passing dogs, strollers, bikes and people.
Lola is an independent girl who doesn't insist on being petted by her human friends, but accepts it. She's sensitive about people and dogs getting in her face and handling her neck, so this mature lady will do best as the only pet in a calm, adult-only home where she can be taken for those nature walks. And get those treats. Come take her for a stroll and see if she's perfect for your home.
All APA adoptions come with free behavior assistance through APA's behavior team. And remember, when you adopt a dog from APA, you are saving not one, but two lives - the life of the dog you're bringing into your home, and the next dog APA can save in the adopted dog's place.
