Buck's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, and good with kids.

Buck's Story...
AVAILABLE 07-04-16 After spending the first 3 years of his life with his family, they brought him to the Shelter, because he needed more attention than they were able to give him. They stated that Buck is good with farm animals and with kids of any age. Buck is a handsome friendly gentleman. He's quite mannerly, walks well on leash and spends most of his day quietly sleeping on his karunda bed. Although he's not suppose to be housetrained, Buck keeps his kennel here at the Shelter clean. When walked, he makes sure to go "potty" and is ready to return to his nap. Buck is neutered and microchipped. Since his arrival his vaccinations have been up dated and he tested negative for heart worms. This gentle giant would make a great canine companion, so please come to the Shelter in Elizabeth City to meet Buck; take him for a walk, give him a treat he might just sit or lay down for you. Give him the FOREVER home he longs for.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buck, a Elizabeth City Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Elizabeth City, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Elizabeth City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Elizabeth City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Elizabeth City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Elizabeth City paves the way for another one to be saved.
