Hello, I am Torie, the sweetest 2 year, young Persian girl. I will sit beside you on a chair or couch once I know you. But I don't allow you to pick me up or carry me around. The rescue thinks this is due to my recent spay and incision being still tender. And I came from a hoarder and the rescue is guessing I wasn't handled as much as other cats are when they were kittens. I am a very sweet cat and so playful and entertaining...loves the cat tree to scratch and run up and down. I love to be petted but no belly touching or butt brushing. I am a dollbaby, just have limitations. Grooming is a bit of a chore as I don't like it but it can be done gradually. This is part of why the rescue requires an experienced Persian cat owner and one who has had an ornery cat before. I have limitations and if you push them I will tell you by nipping (NOT biting) or running away. This is why I CAN'T GO IN A HOME WITH ANY KIDS NOW OR IN THE FUTURE. I have a buddy, his name is Luca and we play together. If you are considering 2 cats and have a no children home these 2 may work. They dont have to be adopted together but they would like it. As we want the cats to be in one home for the rest of their lives. It isn't fair to ask the cats to once again be rehomed due to new owner passing or unable to care for them. This is a policy we will not budge on so please do not ask. We are here to do what is best for our rescue cats and this is our first priority. My adoption fee is $300.00.
