Ginger is only six months of age, and she is a Beagle pup who weighs 20 pounds. Her former 'family' had dropped her off at a local grooming shop claiming they could not afford to care for Ginger. She was flea-infested, covered in dirt, and suffering from an ear infection.

The Fuzzy Pet Foundation was alerted, and our volunteers scooped her up and rushed her to our vet's office. There, she was treated for her ear infection, vaccinated, spayed, microchipped, etc.

Ginger is a love-bug! She is inquisitive and loves to explore her surroundings. True to her breed, she will sniff, sniff, sniff! Ginger gets along well with other dogs, and is always wagging her tail. She will also give sweet kisses.

An ideal home for Ginger is with a nurturing family who has experience with the breed. She is such a well-behaved girl and is eager to please.

About The Fuzzy Pet Foundation - (TFPF)

About Our Rescue Group...

Founded in 2005, Fuzzy Dog and Cat Rescue, Inc. (FR) is a nonprofit animal rescue group. FR is organized by volunteers who are dedicated to saving homeless animals, reducing the rate of pet overpopulation, and educating the general public on animal welfare issues. Currently, our animals are fostered in a home environment by compassionate, pet-loving volunteers, as opposed to being boarded in kennels; this way we are able to socialize and work with each rescue animal on an individual basis. Our goal is to raise enough funds to establish a facility where we can house animals in a cage-free environment. We also wish to provide permanent, long-term care for senior and/or special needs dogs and cats in our future rescue facility.

Our Adoption Process...

1. Once you select an animal, you will be asked to complete an application form. Should you have any specific questions related to the application or the animal of interest, please contact us via e-mail.

2. Upon approval of your application, you will be contacted (via phone or e-mail) to be scheduled for a “meet and greet” with the animal at one of our adoption locations, and an orientation session with one of our adoptions counselors.

Please Note: We reserve the right to refuse an adoption to any family that we feel is not an ideal match for our animal. We also reserve the right to keep our reasons for denied applicants within our organization.

3. There will be a home-check for potential adoptions to ensure that the animal will be living in a safe and secure environment.

4. You will then be asked to sign a legally-binding contract with Fuzzy Dog and Cat Rescue, Inc., and to pay an adoption/donation fee.

5. Once all requirements are fulfilled, the animal will be released to you.

Please Note: If for any reason you are unable to keep or provide adequate care for the animal, we require that you return him/her back to Fuzzy Dog and Cat Rescue, Inc. Our animals are NOT to be transferred, sold, or given to a third-party.
