Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Rome
This green eyed beauty is looking for a new home. He is 8 months old and currently weighs 100 pounds. He will reach 130 pounds when full grown. He is a purebred Cane Corso otherwise known as an Italian Mastiff. He is very gentle and kind and loves all other dogs. He is up to date on shots and will be neutered before his placement. Rome unfortunately suffered an accident a couple of months ago :( he tried to run and play with the big dogs and prepared himself to jump over a farm fence and did not make it. He has injured is front right leg and this will be a concern for the rest of his life. Through x rays they have located a bone fragment that is in his elbow. Rome can never be an outside dog nor can he be left to be a wild and crazy running dog as he can hurt his elbow all over again. He will be required to have glucosmine every day to help the prevention of arthritis and he should always be kept at a healthy weight. Letting him become obese will also hinder his leg. There is a surgery that can be done to remove the small bone chio but it will never take away the fact that he will always limp and he will always have an enlarged looking elbow. If you think you can find it in your heart to have a little extra care for this fellow let us know !!500,00 adoption fee applies
