Don’t you just love Fiona’s cute freckles on her nose? Fiona will do best in a home without to many other cats. She came to us pregnant, did a good job of caring for her three kittens, but never looked for them when they were moved for better socialization. Fiona appeared attached to her grown daughter Fancy, but rejected her when she gave birth to three kittens. She’s affectionate on her own terms and likes attention. She is easy going, but prefers the area of the house that is quieter. She’s friendly when approached, and occasionally asks to be petted. She’s obviously lived where she got fed and cared for but without a whole lot of attention. While she gets along fine with her fellow cats, she doesn’t appear to need them and should do fine as an only cat. Fiona is sponsored by Partners for Cats and as such is free to an approved home. She lives with her caregiver Jean but prefers Michael (Jean’s husband) and the quieter area he inhabits in the home. Feel free to call Jean (828-437-8769) to ask any questions regarding the adoption of Fiona. It’s believed that she will do best in a home without extremely active or young children. Her reactions to dogs is unknown, but most cats do well with dogs who don’t jump on them and bark or try to chase them.

About Partners for Cats

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a group of people who are tired of the statistics where many more cats are killed by our Animal Control entities than are released after TNR or are placed in loving homes. We think that all cats can be saved and have joined to not only save cats but to educate the communities we live in about cats and hopefully generate compassion and love for them.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We are showing cats and kittens at the Tractor Supply in Morganton NC every other Saturday from 10a to 3p.

Our Adoption Process...

Must fill out an adoption application and be interviewed by a representative of Partners for Cats and/or the Caregiver who has physical custody of the cat. Adoption fees usually free but can be charged by the Caregiver. The emphasis is finding good kind people who will love and care for the specific cat. Donations are always appreciated, but an adoption fee not usually required.
