Cassie is a 4 year old sable GSD female that was an owner surrender. She has not had it easy as she has been moved from family to family in her 4 short years. This girl could definitely stand to lose a few pounds but should not have a problem with that when she finds an active family to call her own. She loves children but we do recommend a family with older children due to her size and exuberance.
Cassie is smart, knows basic commands, house trained, and gets along well with other dogs with proper introduction. Though Cassie likes other dogs, she has a rather "in your face" play style that can put off other dogs and can seem aggressive. She would definitely do better with a larger confident male than with a submissive dog or another female. Her prey drive would prevent her from living in a home with small dogs, cats or other small furry critters. This girl definitely has some energy and will need an ACTIVE family that is willing to work with her to channel that energy and give her something to do. She would love to go on hikes, walks, or otherwise spend time with her humans doing fun activities. CAssie does need some work on her leash manners but this is more due to her size, energy and excitement at seeing something new than being naughty.
Cassie is UTD, spayed, microchipped, HW- and on flea/tick/HW preventative. Adoption fee $400
