Bandit's Story...
We would like you to meet our boy Bandit!
Bandit is a very handsome 3 year old Golden Retriever mix. Bandit joined our rescue because he was "owned" by some teens, when the teens moved out of the family's house, they left him behind. Sadly, Bandit then found himself in boarding where he stayed for a month before they decided to surrender him to rescue. We are here to ensure that abandonment is not the last feeling that Bandit has! Bandit is such a great boy. He is so friendly and loving! He is good with other dogs and is gentle with kids. Bandit has not been cat tested at this time. Bandit loves to go swimming and to run around and play! He will do best in a home that is active and willing to play with him! Over all, Bandit is a sweet, phenomenal boy. He has a wonderful temperament and we know he will make a family very happy.
We know Bandit's forever is out there, could it be you?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bandit, a Oxford Golden Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever for sale in Oxford, or seeking a Golden Retriever dog from a breeder in Oxford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oxford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oxford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever breeders who help with Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oxford paves the way for another one to be saved.
