Mia's Story...
Mia is a beautiful, 1 year old Pittie mix available for adoption. She is a social girl who adores people of all ages! Mia enjoys the company of most other dogs, preferably males. Her best friend at the shelter is Buford, an American Bulldog mix who is also available for adoption. Mia does best with a slow introduction to new dogs so that she can ease in to a new companionship. Mia is soft hearted and has a very strong will to please. She is very easy to teach new things to, and has a good disposition. Mia's adoption fee is $170 and includes her vaccines, deworming, fecal exam, heartworm test, registered microchip, and spay.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mia, a Joliet Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Joliet, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Joliet.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Joliet already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Joliet breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Joliet paves the way for another one to be saved.
