(Urgent) Timmy's Story...
This sad little senior boy currently resides in a terrible place. His days are literally numbered there, and his advocate, Diane, is in a hurry to place him with a deserving guardian.

His name is Timmy, and he was dumped at the shelter at the age of 10 years old after spending his whole life with the family he loved and protected. Very sadly, they didn't feel the same loyalty towards Timmy - this happens way too often.

Hi advocate reports that Timmy is sweet, loving, agreeable, and longing for a kind hand. He waits and waits for someone to set him free from this scary place where he knows that other younger dogs are competing for the same loving homes. Please help this darling. If you cannot make a lifetime commitment, perhaps you can open your heart and home as a foster guardian while we search for a special home for Timmy???

Why Adoption is a Great Option

(Urgent) Timmy, a Smithtown Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog for sale in Smithtown, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Smithtown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Smithtown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Smithtown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Smithtown paves the way for another one to be saved.
