Adorable Adult Female Cat Needs A Good Home
Hello! I am looking for a good, loving home for my Aunt's cat, Sweetie Pie. My Aunt died about three months ago and I have been caring for Sweetie since then, but I really think she would be better off in another home. I have another cat who is older and accustomed to being an only cat, and I'm afraid this is just not the best situation for either of them. Sweetie is relatively social, enjoys wet and dry food, and uses the litter box. She is a little guarded and tends to hide from strangers, but is extremely affectionate with people she knows. Unfortunately, I could not find any of my Aunt's vet records, but I know that Sweetie is about 5 years old, has been spayed, and has had all of her vaccinations. She is beautiful, playful, and really is a sweetie pie!
Please call 646-321-8484 if you can help.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

SweetiePie, a New York American Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Shorthair for sale in New York, or seeking a American Shorthair cat from a breeder in New York.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New York already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New York breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Shorthair breeders who help with American Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New York paves the way for another one to be saved.
