Cindy's Story...

Cindy is one of those dogs you wish you could just hug and tell her everything will be ok. Found as a stray, she was quite scared when she arrived to the care center, and she did everything cautiously. Loud noises startle her and she stays close to her person for comfort. She is a bit guarded at times, and was more interested in seeking a calm place to hang out than to play. Cindy loves treats, loves to be pet and seemed friendly toward passing dogs. She is absolutely stunning, and though she came in as a stray, it seems she had been given care: her coat gleams, she is a healthy weight and her teeth reflect a healthy diet. Cindy is ready to find a family and home that will cherish her forever! Ask to meet her today.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cindy, a Ridgefield American Staffordshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Ridgefield, or seeking a American Staffordshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Ridgefield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ridgefield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ridgefield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ridgefield paves the way for another one to be saved.
