Large perked ears and wispy whirls of silvery black hair make sweet Princess a striking standout in any canine crowd. True to her regal name, she’s gracious and affectionate, lively and playful, bestowing happy kisses on anyone in her foster home who gives her rubs. A dedicated sun worshiper, she loves lying outside on the grass, enjoys romping with her foster sibs, and even dances happily for treats. One would never know this mischievous miss is nine years old, suffers from diabetes, and has limited vision in both eyes because of cataracts. A trooper with a capital T, she easily accepts her twice-daily insulin shots, always 'thanking' her foster mom with extra kisses, and despite her limited vision, navigates well around the house and yard. Due to her diabetes, she drinks a large amount of water and must be taken outside every two hours or so. More than worth her weight in gold, precious Princess is, in the words of her foster mom, 'a commitment of love', to be made by an adult-only home, with someone always there (she receives her insulin 12 hours apart after her meals), and who will be more than royally loved in return. Princess's adoption fee is $150.00.
