Facts about DINA

  • Breed: Chihuahua Mix
  • Color: Black
  • Age: Adult
  • Size: Small 25 lbs (11 kg) or less
  • Sex: Female
Dina is a 3 year old Chihuahua mix who is looking for a permanent home. She is spayed and up to date on her shots. Dina is a wonderful foster dog. For several months she has been in our family with young kids and 2 other dogs.
Dina is cuddly, very affectionate, a quick learner and excellent with the kids and visitors. Walks well on leash, is crate-trained, enjoys car travel and being with her family pack. Dina is not yappy.
In her past (a previous owner) she was a "100% outdoor dog and slept in the garage". Dina wasn't housetrained as a puppy and we are training her to go outside. Her adoptive family will benefit from being aware of her past and hopefully will continue to help her understand what is expected of her now. She totally desires to please and just asks for patient training since no one gave her that as a pup. Her heart is kind and generous. Interested? About Friends of the Animal Community (FOAC)

About Our Rescue Group...

Friends of the Animal Community is a small organization dedicated to relieving over-crowding at Tuolumne County Animal Control (AC); promoting the health of abused and abandoned animals; reducing unnecessary euthanasia; and ultimately expediting movement of homeless dogs into permanent, loving homes. As its name denotes, FOAC also provides assistance in meeting the needs of pets belonging to people in our community. These needs include re-homing a pet whose owner must relinquish it, or who can no longer care for it, and, in extreme emergencies, we have helped with financial assistance for medical issues or boarding and feeding.

FOAC is always looking for any additional help whether it's one-time or all the time. Visit our website if you are interested in volunteering and click on the volunteer tab.
