Aaron's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Aaron's Story...
Aaron is a beautiful sheltie mix who ended up in a shelter because his owner lost his home and couldn't take Aaron with him. He is 9-12 months old and underweight at 25 pounds, so he will probably be 30 pounds when he fills out. Aaron is a happy boy who loves to be petted. He is playful and peppy and would like an active home where there will be people or another dog to play with him. A fenced yard would be ideal. Aaron has living in a house and is house trained. He is kennel trained and handles quite well on a leash. Aaron has been neutered, heartworm tested and on prevention, up to date on shots and worming, treated for fleas and ticks, and microchipped. His $250 adoption fee through his non profit, all volunteer rescue pays for his documented vet care.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Aaron, a Osseo Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog for sale in Osseo, or seeking a Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog dog from a breeder in Osseo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Osseo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Osseo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog breeders who help with Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Osseo paves the way for another one to be saved.
