Tator weighs only 22 pounds and he's the silliest thing! He loves to play with other dogs, and he loves to chew toys and bones, but he doesn't fight over them. He's a very loving little guy, but he can shy with strangers. If people, even strangers, ignore him he clamors for attention, but if they pay too much attention too quickly, he becomes afraid and needs a little space to get comfortable. He's quiet in his crate and he listens very well. When his foster mom says "no" he immediately stops what he's doing, and when she calls his name, he always come running. He loved the kids in the foster home where he stayed while recovering from leg surgery (fractured but now fully healed, though he will always have a bit of a limp in one front leg). If you will give him just a very short time to get to know you, he'll be a very fun and loving companion.
Our adoption fees range from $150-$225 depending on the dog's age. The dogs are all spayed/neutered, microchipped, and have received age appropriate vaccines including rabies, DHPP, and usually bordetella (kennel cough). If you would like to meet one of our dogs, please do the online application at http://lilbitofloverescue.weebly.com/adoption-application.html. You only need to do it once for our organization, regardless of how many of our dogs you are interested in.

You'll receive a copy, too, at to help you keep track of which pets you've inquired about, and which shelters and rescues you've emailed.
NOTE: Some shelters have physical locations you can visit; some of these shelters may only have pets for a limited time, so please do not wait for a reply—just go visit the shelter! Other organizations are rescue groups run by busy volunteers who may take a while to reply. You can find information about the shelter or rescue group caring for this pet, and their adoption procedures, on the pet's details page on Adopt-a-Pet.com.
