Chewy's Story...
Don’t go Solo , get yourself a Wookiee! Let’s see if we can’t take our love into hyperdrive! Have you been looking for love in Alderaan places? Well, look no further! I am all the handsome little furbeast you have been looking for in a bestie! Can you do a good Chewbacca impression? Cuz that is my call! Brrwhhhaargh! And I will come running! Or at least look at you in a generally interested manner! My personality is much more enduring than a Wookiee’s, but I do require only the most respectful children 10+ be allowed to join my fleet. My crate training is on par with my pilot skills, near impeccable. I get along with other dogs and cats just like they were my fellow Wookiee tribesmen. If you need a copilot to help navigate you through the Galaxy, my services are always available to a gentle family in need. 2 years old-15lbs. My adoption fee is $180 and includes neuter, microchip & registration, reduced-cost training class, free veterinary exam, 1 month pet health insurance, leash/collar, food sample, toy & treat packet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chewy, a Portland Lhasa Apso dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Lhasa Apso for sale in Portland, or seeking a Lhasa Apso dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Lhasa Apso breeders who help with Lhasa Apso rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
