Nikki's Story...
It’s Ladies’ Night at FDNLS! Snuggles are just 3 bucks, and puppy breath is on the house! We’re here to party all night long, so best be prepared for a good time. We may not have the best manners just yet, so we will need plenty of guidance and a designated driver. It may be ladies’ night but we’re up for having a good time with anyone who knows how to treat us with the respect a lady deserves; other dogs, cats, or children. So hurry in and meet us; it’s time to get intoxicated on puppy love! 12 week old-16lbs. My adoption fee is $280 and includes microchip & registration, spay, reduced-cost training class, 1 month pet health insurance, free veterinary exam, leash/collar, toy & treat packet, dog food sample.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nikki, a Portland Labrador Retriever/Plott Hound puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Plott Hound for sale in Portland, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Plott Hound puppy from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Plott Hound breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Plott Hound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
