Molly's Story...
Molly (born 5/12/14) is such an amazing girl.

She is half German Shepherd, half lab and is 2.5 years old. She is always happy, loving and playful and loves everyone, including children and other dogs. She is incredibly smart and LOVES playing in the water. She was in horrible shape when she came to us - very emaciated and had a stick wedged in the roof of her mouth. The stick had been there long enough that the roof of her mouth was growing over it and it had to be surgically removed.

This young lady needs a family with kids - an active family would be best. She'd make the right lucky family one amazing best friend and protector. Absolutely NO cats or small dogs.

Molly can climb nearly any fence, but WON'T if she isn't left alone to become bored.

Her adoption fee is $150 and includes age-appropriate shots, worming, microchip, and spay. An approved application is required (which can be found here: http://pawsitivetailsrescue.org/our-adoptable-pets/pawsitive-tails-rescue-dog-adoption-application-form/), as is an adoption contract.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Molly, a Torrington German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever for sale in Torrington, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Torrington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Torrington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Torrington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Torrington paves the way for another one to be saved.
