Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Elsa's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Elsa's Story...
Elsa (born 6/15/2015) is just amazing. She's a lab/shepherd cross and is GORGEOUS! She's also incredibly laid back, well-behaved and affectionate.

She's never met a stranger and loves kids. She's simply a sweet, low-maintenance girl looking for her family. She's great with other dogs (of all sizes and genders).

I can't think of a type of family she wouldn't fit well into. We all adore her!

Her adoption fee is $150 and includes age-appropriate shots, worming, microchip. An approved application is required (which can be found here: http://pawsitivetailsrescue.org/our-adoptable-pets/pawsitive-tails-rescue-dog-adoption-application-form/), as is an adoption contract.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Elsa, a Torrington German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever for sale in Torrington, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Torrington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Torrington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Torrington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Torrington paves the way for another one to be saved.
