Dandy and his sister Holly had been living on their own for a while, getting care but not a lot of attention. Now that it has been determined that their owner will not be able to return home, these sweet kitties are looking for a new home together. Dandy is a friendly boy though he would still appreciate being given the time to settle into a new home at his own pace - it didn't take him long at HART to feel comfortable and start seeking out love and affection.
The Homeless Animal Rescue Team (HART) is a non-profit, no-kill, all-volunteer, open-environment shelter and adoption center for cats in Cumberland, Maine.

HART is open to visitors 1-4pm on Wednesdays and 11am-4pm on Saturdays. Kittens do not live at the shelter. For kitten adoptions or off-hours shelter tours, please email firstname.lastname@example.org to make an appointment.
Our Adoption Process...
