Mister (courtesy listing)'s Story...
Mister is a 1 year old German Shepherd that was bought as a puppy and been living in his owners yard with little attention. Finally the family of the owner asked that he allow them to bring the dog to a rescue to be placed in a more suitable home where Mister could get lots of exercise and stimulation. He is a very sweet dog who likes people and other dogs. We are looking for a home the has experience with this magnificent breed and who can give him the care and attention that he deserves. If you would like to adopt Mister please contact Peggy Stern at pmpstern@yahoo.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mister (courtesy listing), a Bartonsville German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Bartonsville, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Bartonsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bartonsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bartonsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bartonsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
