I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Casey's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Casey's Story...
Casey is a 12 year old JRT who was surrendered by her owner because they no longer had time for her. Please don't get fooled by the age - she is a peppy lady and has no plans of going anywhere anytime soon! She is in a foster home and doing quite well. Loves to lay on her back and wiggle in the grass. She is good with dogs and cats! She is housebroken as well. She is a candidate for our senior for senior program! She will be a nice buddy for someone - no doubt about it.

We recommend and encourage you to complete an application at http://henricohumane.org/adopt/application-for-dogs/ before coming to our next adoption event. To find out if I will be attending our next adoption event, please email dogs@henricohumane.org.

Adoption events are every Saturday, excluding holidays, at the Petco located at 11331 W. Broad Street, Glen Allen, VA (next to Trader Joe’s) from 11:00am to 2:00pm.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Casey, a Richmond Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Richmond, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Richmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Richmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Richmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Richmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
