Bernardo's Story...
Hello! My name is Bernardo. *cue sexy latin guitar music* I am one lean, mean, cuddling machine. you will never be cold when I am near you. As if my insanely good looks and charm weren't enough, I am also the best conversationalist. I will be there for you through the thick and the thin.... except when that vacuum cleaner thing arrives. You're on your own. Take me home and find out for yourself just how awesome this little gato is! My foster home has other cats and a medium size dog and I get along with all of them. I'm litter box trained, neutered, microchipped, FeLV-, dewormed and vaccinated.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bernardo, a Wichita Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Wichita, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Wichita.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wichita already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wichita breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wichita paves the way for another one to be saved.
