Peanut's Story...
Peanut is a goofy little thing! She weighs maybe 7lbs and she is so cute! She is wonderful with kids and loves to play and be silly and we want her to go to a home with a loving family! Her mom is a Chihuahua/Dachshund and we believe her dad must have been a Chihuahua because of how small she is. She is 100% adorable! Her adoption fee (adoption fee, transport fee, and health cert fee are included) is $450. She is NOT in CT due to the lack of fosters in the area. She is currently in TX. If you would consider adopting this dog from Transport then please email us. Thank you for choosing to adopt a rescue dog!! We transport dogs to CT every two weeks.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Peanut, a East Hartford Chihuahua/Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Dachshund for sale in East Hartford, or seeking a Chihuahua/Dachshund dog from a breeder in East Hartford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in East Hartford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a East Hartford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Dachshund breeders who help with Chihuahua/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in East Hartford paves the way for another one to be saved.
