Kesa is the ultimate sensory pleaser! With her gorgeous face and green eyes, soft gray fur and warm assuring purr, Kesa is going to be the cat that makes someone’s house a real home. (Didn’t someone say that a room with a cat in it is never empty?) Well, Kesa brings a sweet, warm, and calming presence to any place she occupies.

About three years old, Kesa is fastidious in her hygiene. She likes lap time with her person/people, but also likes to bask in a sunny spot and give herself a bath. Did we say she was sweet?

Like many cats, Kesa sometimes displays her dislike for being rubbed or scratched in places for too long or that are uncomfortable for her. For that reason, we think Kesa is best-suited for an “Adults Only” household.

Kesa needs a grain-free diet to keep her healthy. Ask Brother Wolf or her foster about the food she has been on while staying with them. Contact foster mom Cathy (mcdalton53@yahoo.com) to learn more about beautiful Kesa!

All Brother Wolf animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations before adoption (if species appropriate).
Application and counseling is required prior to all adoptions.

Individuals interested in adopting a puppy are STRONGLY encouraged to download and read this FREE ebook. Even if you've raised puppies in the past, this is an invaluable resource to help make your new addition successful!

Please note that visual breed identification of companion animals has been proven to be unreliable, so for most of our animals we provide a best guess at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our animals as an individual and do our best to describe and place pets based on personality not breed label.

About Brother Wolf Animal Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Brother Wolf Animal Rescue is known for their excellence in matching people with the best dog or cat that would suit their lifestyle. Today we are proud to have the largest NO-KILL shelter in Asheville. Brother Wolf Animal Rescue was established in 2006. We started off as a very small group of people, taking dogs and cats from gassing shelters in GA. We found wonderful homes for these animals but realized while we were saving these particular animals, we had a much bigger problem in our community that we needed to face. Perfectly healthy, highly adoptable animals in our community are being euthanized every day. Rescued pets are not broken or damaged goods. They are wonderful animals who have ended up homeless through no fault of their own.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Our facility is located at 31 Glendale Avenue in Asheville, off Swannanoa River Rd, 1/2 mile from Lowe's. Open every day.

Our Adoption Process...

All adoptions will require a contract and discussions with one of our adoption counselors. Based on the needs of the particular animal, we reserve the right to require a home visit at the discretion of the adoption counselor. All our animals will be altered before adoption and up-to-date on standard vaccinations. We do collect an adoption fee.
