Turtledove! Whata girl. This sweet dog got her nickname while in the shelter when she was stuck on her back- like a turtle- and couldn't roll back over! She quickly became a staff and volunteer favorite for her silly antics, gentle nature, and longing eyes. Turtledove sweetly watched the staff come and go, the dogs being adopted, and days passing by- until finally it was her last day before being euthanized. Staff and volunteers joined together pleading for help for this favorite dog of theirs. Thankfully, in the nick of time, 4 Life Rescue was able to help Turtledove and give her a chance to know what life and love is really like. It's very evident that Turtledove was extremely overbred and neglected, yet, somehow she's as trusting and gentle as they come. Since being in her foster home, Turtledove has adjusted well to pack and family life, she learns commands, and is very social and eager for connections and attention. This dog is very loving! Turtledove is one unique mama and 4 Life Rescue is so happy we get to be part of her journey. To learn more about adopting Turtledove visit www.4liferescue.org .
