Hi, my name is JO JO and I am a 3 year old HANDSOME MAINE COON mix weighing in at around 17 pounds. My coloring is that of a TABBY with WHITE. My long coat has been shaved for the hot summer weather, but it is slowly growing back in. Recently my owner was admitted to a nursing home and I was taken to a local shelter. Winding up in a shelter after living in a warm cozy home was very upsetting and unnerving. Thankfully, Posh Pets Rescue sprung into action and got me out of there. So, as you can imagine, I’ve been through a lot lately and for a while I was somewhat nervous from that awful experience. My true personality has once again emerged and people will tell you that I am a LOVE BUG and that I am VERY FRIENDLY, OUTGOING and AFFECTIONATE. I also act VERY DOG LIKE as I will FOLLOW you from room to room and even ROLL AROUND on the floor in the most playful way. I get along with other CATS too, although I have a tendency to be a typical DOMINANT MALE Maine Coon. I would benefit best in a home with someone familiar with the breed. Ready for a lifelong companion? I am neutered, UTD on shots, and FIV/FeLV negative.
