Grover ID#210125 is a male 4-year old gorgeous tri-color Labrador Retriever blend weighing about 50 lbs. He was adopted four years ago, when he was just 6 months old. Life as Grover has known it is about to change, because his current owners are going to return him to the kennels. Grover needs a special home to get him back on track. In his current home, where he's been for nearly 4 years, Grover has developed anxiety. He needs a family with either no children or with older considerate children and with other calm dogs. Grover loves the water and loves to play fetch. He is housebroken and crate trained. His current owner has him on anxiety medication, but we believe he just may need a different home with people who understand him better and can give him proper exercise and a lifestyle that better suits sweet Grover. We hope at the very least to get Grover into an experienced foster home or rescue group before he ends up back in the kennels - which could possibly cause his anxiety to increase. Grover is, of course, neutered, current on vaccinations and microchipped. His adoption comes with one free month of pet health insurance. He needs either adoption or foster care. Please write to firstname.lastname@example.org AND to Adopt@sanantoniopetsalive.org to arrange to meet Grover. Please be sure to subject Grover ID#210125.
