Love tiny dogs? Ginger is ready to love you right back! She's a petite 6-year-old, 5-pound Chihuahua mix who came to us from the Salinas Shelter after coming in as an unclaimed stray with some medical issues. Ginger had some badly infected teeth and needed several dental extractions. She also had a benign mammary tumor that was surgically removed, and a corneal ulcer that has now healed. Ginger feels like a new dog and has lots of love to share! She is a fabulous lap dog and gets along nicely with other dogs and cats. Due to her small size, adult adopter or family with gentle teens preferred.
