Penelope was born on May 29th and has been in a loving and nurturing foster home with her mom and litter mates ever since. Now that she has reached an appropriate age, it is time for her to find a forever home that will love and nurture her for the rest of her life.
We had a hard time getting photos of Penelope because every time we crouched down and pointed the camera at her, she would run up to us, wagging her tail, ready to be held and petted. From the beginning, Penelope has been the most affectionate of the group. She has a sweet little face with huge eyes that will melt your heart. When she sleeps, she puts her little nose down on the floor and covers it with her paw. She is tiny and feminine and playful and gentle and sweet with everything she does. In addition to her mom and litter mates, Lucy has lived with 4 other dogs and two children. There are always lots of people coming and going so the thinks new people and dogs are an excellent opportunity to snuggle and play. She has soft and silky brown fur and a curly little tail. Lucy’s mom is a 12 lb white scruffy terrier mix and so far she is mum’s the word about dad. We suspect that Lucy will stay small. She is a tiny little girl and weighs only about 2.5 lbs.
Penelope has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and takes her monthly medicine to protect her from fleas and heartworms. Her adoption fee is $250.00.
