Please fill out an application if you are interested in adopting one of our pets.

We strive to place each of our foster pets into the most appropriate home possible. Since we are a network of foster homes, we get to know each of the animals and know what home would work best for the pet.

Big Sam is a 13 year old couch potato who needs his blood sugar monitored to make sure his diabetes does not recur.  It does not have to be checked very often but he does need a diet because he is a bit of a chunk right now.  If his weight is kept down, he should have many more golden years ahead of him.  He is a quiet, calm guy who does not do much.  He prefers to lounge and may change his lounging place from time to time to mix things up.  He is an easy keeper and he is really stunning to look at.  He is litter box trained and does well with other cats. We are hoping to find a retirement home for Sam so please consider him and get in touch with us if you would like to know more.

About Saving Pets One at a Time

About Our Rescue Group...

S.P.O.T. - Saving Pets One at a Time
The mission of our all-volunteer organization is to provide the Skagit Valley and the surrounding areas an alternative method of caring for and adopting out companion animals. We strive to provide an alternative adoption option without the fear of euthanizing healthy and adoptable pets.
Each pet receives daily one-on-one care and attention while in foster care. We work on training and socialization skills to help each pet be the best they can be. Pets do not leave foster care until we feel they are emotionally and physically ready to be placed into a permanent home.
