Star's Story...
Hello my name is Star and I am full of love, and did I mention that I am absolutely adorable? I am 4 months old and have a beautiful brindle coat. I am very outgoing and enjoy playing with my toys. I am crate trained and am doing well with my potty training. I am great with kids, dogs, and still learning how not to chase cats. I love going on walks and playing with my sister. I love to swim in my kiddie pool too. I hope to find an active family who can take me for walks and a good swim! I hope I can find my forever family soon so that I can start on this new journey called "life."

I am spayed, current on vaccinations and trifexis, dewormed, and microchipped. I'm located in Huntsville, AL, but am available for adoption in your area.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Star, a Knoxville Plott Hound/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Plott Hound/Labrador Retriever for sale in Knoxville, or seeking a Plott Hound/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Knoxville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Knoxville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Knoxville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Plott Hound/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Plott Hound/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Knoxville paves the way for another one to be saved.
