This handsome fellow is Brody. He is a 5-year-old mixed breed dog. We suspect he has a hunting breed like lab, pointer, or hound and something else (a terrier, maybe?) in his pedigree, but your guess is as good as ours. Brody is a pretty low energy guy. He prefers to hang out on the couch or under a tree rather than being in the middle of a lot of activity. Brody is already potty trained and knows basic commands. He gets along with some other dogs, but not all (he isn't a fan of the small yappy types). Brody will need a home without small children. He has been okay with older, respectful kids, but he is nervous with small children and may snap at them. Brody has been attending "summer school" with a local trainer to help study up for his new home and has been doing well. He's gaining confidence in himself and his trainer says he'll make a good companion for the right person or couple.
Brody's adoption fee is $150. If you are interested in adding Brody to your family, please complete our online adoption application at www.friendsoftheanimalsjessamine.org and a representative will contact you. This application does not obligate you in any way; it's simply the first step in our adoption process that helps us ensure the best match for you and our beloved foster pets!
