Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Rio would like a foster home with loving folks and maybe a very patient smaller dog to teach him all that dog stuff!!!
Rio is our BLIND Harl boy who is now 5 1/2 - 6 months. He is being treated for Valley Fever. He has a compromised rear end. He cannot have another dog jump on him or ram into him! No big dogs in his future. He tends to be oral when excited so small children would not be a good idea! We believe Rio has a learning disability!
We will be doing more x-rays in the next couple of weeks to check on his progress. This sweet, beautiful soul has been through so much and just keeps on smiling and chugging along, like the little engine that could!!! He is an amazing puppy. He would greatly benefit from a foster home. If you have a fenced pool for hydrotherapy that would be very beneficial!!! Who is willing to help this beautiful boy???
Rio was found in the desert along the border and a wonderful vet in Rio Rico took him in. He treated Rio for Puppy Strangles and a few other problems due to exposure.
Please contact the Alliance for more info! Thank you.
