My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dexter was born on 3/3/11 and is a very sweet Chihuahua! He loves to play and tangle with soft stuffed animals. Dexter is a real affectionate and loving dog who wants to be snuggled. He gets along with other dogs but doesn't play with them, as he prefers to be alone. At times, he will growl at the other dogs and other people, but not furiously. Dexter is more protective than aggressive, and he quiets when the knows that the situation is okay. Dexter gets along with children, but prefers to be with adults more than children. He is timid around younger children and unsure if they will hurt him. Dexter is easily startled but recovers quickly. He loves to sleep under the covers and snuggle next to people. If he is let out frequently, he does well with potty training, but if he is left alone for awhile he may have an accident. Dexter is currently crated with other dogs when no one is home and does well. He is not crate trained when humans are home. Dexter has a microchip, has been vet checked, neutered, vaccinated, de-wormed and tested negative for heartworm. Call 507-451-4512 for a meet-and-greet in the foster home.
