Meet Star!

Star near 3 months old, she is a lazy little sweetheart that loves attention and her naps. But when the opportunity arises for horse play with her siblings, she can keep up with the best of them! Although she was born with a deformed right back leg (club foot) that doesn't slow her down, she has mastered the stairs, littler box and linoleum with out any issues!

Star was rescued from a very rural shelter, were she had only days left before they were to put her down. She is now safe, healthy, and a very happy. Star gets along well with other cats and children.

If you're interested in making her a permanent part of your family, please fill out our adoption application at www.nokill-louisville.com/adopt.htm

About No Kill Louisville

About Our Rescue Group...

Mission - Through the support and creation of programs and services, collaboration, and advocacy, No Kill Louisville will build a community where no adoptable pet or feral cat is killed.

Vision - We envision our community as a place where no adoptable pet or feral cat is killed, regardless of resources, economics, or politics.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Our pets are housed primarily in foster homes. Currently working to set up regular adoption events in community. Check back soon!

Our Adoption Process...

The first step to the adoption process is to fill out an application. Once approved we will set up a meet and greet with the animal and all those living in the household include current pets to insure that everyone is a good fit. A home visit may also be required before adoptions are completed.

We are an all-volunteer organization so it may take a couple of days to return an e-mail. When in doubt, please follow-up to be sure we received it!
