My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

SHAYLA is a 9 year old spayed black female Lab who weighs 64 pounds. Her owners were evicted from their house and brought Shayla to the shelter with the hope that she could get a second change. She's got it!
From LR evaluator: I had the pleasure of meeting this wonderful, friendly, "chunky monkey" today. She looks well cared for. She is spayed and previously lived with a 2 year old male lab. Shayla is house trained and in the past could be left uncrated in the house. She is very spry, engaging, loving and truly a sweet girl! She gave lots of kisses, lap time, and she will drop to the floor in a split second for a belly rub. Shayla knows sit, paw, stay, treat and wait. This divine gal enjoys treats and takes them gently. She walked like a perfect lady on the leash. She was calm and appropriate when meeting an 8-year-old male boxer. Shayla is approved for kids ages 10+. More info soon!!!
