Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Winnie is from a litter of 9 puppies born to what we think is a German Short Haired Pointer mix. We are really not sure what else is in her but something about Winnie reminds us of a Boxer mix. But it is all guess work. She is very sweet and friendly and has been handled since birth. They are in a foster home getting lots of attention and they are trying to get the resident German Shepherd to pay them some attention but she is getting too old for their energy They can be adopted after July 26 when they will have had their second puppy vaccine. Unfortunately they cannot be adopted out of state and have to be adopted by a County contiguous to Bedford County due to them not being spayed or neutered.
For more information, please call the Bedford Humane Society at 540-586-6100, or go to www.bhsva.org/adoptions-home.htm to fill out an adoption application.
