My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

FRIENDSHIP IS NO LONGER ACCEPTING ADOPTION APPLICATIONS ON TAZ/ZIGGY. HE HAS REACHED HIS LIMIT. THANK YOU.

Friendship has changed the way Prison Graduates will be adopted. Late this week (Thursday 7-28 or Friday 7-29), several Prison Graduates will be returning from being trained at the Grafton Correctional Institute and will be available for immediate adoption. Applications for these Prison Graduates are now being accepted. All dogs have been receiving extensive training in obedience, basic commands, manners, house training and proper leash walking. Please submit an application in person at the shelter or email one to Katie@friendshipapl.org. You will be contacted by phone when the Prison Graduates are available. An Adoption Application can be found on the website at friendshipapl.org under ADOPT.

Taz "Ziggy" is a super active 8 month old Hound mix puppy. He was recently adopted and returned because he had too much energy for the family and was too active for the 3 year old child. If she would start running Taz would chase her and nip at her legs. He was trying to be playful but it was too much for a toddler. He lived with a cat and thought it was fun to carry the cat around in his mouth. He never hurt the cat but needless to say the cat was not happy. T_Z is now a few months older and wiser being trained at the prison and is ready for his forever home.

All dogs receive one or more vaccinations, a basic veterinary examination, are wormed, heartworm tested and spayed or neutered. Dogs 3 months and older are micro-chipped.
